Steel Form Decking is a cold-formed steel decking, which is mainly used as stay-in-place forms for structural concrete slabs.
The finish on the form decking shall be specified by the designer. The form decking should be suitable for the environment of the structure.
Steel Form decking is available in three basic finishes: galvanized deckinging, no coating (black) decking or painted decking finishes. The galvanized finish on form decking is available in G60 and G90 coatings.
Steel Form decking comes in 9/16" form decking, 15/16" form decking, 1" form decking, and 1-5/16" form decking. The Form Decking is offered in various gauges from 20 to 28 gauge decking.
Form Decking is typically specified for schools, warehouses, and low- and high-rise office buildings. Installation of form decking is fast, easy and economical. The need for temporary wood forming is eliminated by metal form decking.
All of our metal decking has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. for their fire resistance ratings.
